A complementary work to the previous published âChecklist of the Lepidoptera of Turkeyâ in this serial.

This study deals with the Lepidoptera species hitherto recorded in Turkey. Totally 6555 valid species group taxa are enumerated. Among them, 5101 species and 1454 subspecies are listed alphabetically under the related families. Provincial distributions in Turkey are revised and given as codes. Larval foodplants are added to the 1648 species. Some remarks on the nomenclature of the taxa are mentioned in footnotes. Additional references to the Lepidoptera of Turkey, published especially in the recent years, are given.
